Science Society

There shall be a Science Association in the college called Science society.

1. MEMBERSHIP :
   1. All the Science students of the college and science teaching staff are members of the society.
   2. At the beginning of an academic session each student member of the society shall pay an annual subscription of Rs. 10 /-.
2. OBJECTIVE :
   The aim & objective of this society is to spread scientific knowledge and for the this and it shall strive to.

1. 1. Arrange lectures and discussions of the scientific nature.
   2. Invite distinguished speakers to deliver lectures on the scientific topics.
   3. To organise excursion to places of scientific interest.
   4. Arrange annual science exhibition.
2. EXECUTIVE BODY :
   The affairs of the society shall be managed by an executive body consisting of :

1. 1. The Principals Ex-officio President.
   2. Vice-President who shall ordinarily be the senior most professor of the Science Departments.
   3. An associate Vice-President to be nominated by the principal from among the staff
   4. Secretary to be elected for the session form among the students as per the Rule 9 of the College Union.
   5. One class representative to be elected from each class for the session.
2. FUNCTION OF EXECUTIVE BODY
   1. The executive committee shall look after all subjects of finance nature.
   2. Shall be responsible for general management.
   3. The Secretary under direction of Vice-President should look after summoning of meetings, keeping minute details of the meeting and maintain accounts of the society.
