Humanities Society

There shall be an association of arts student called “The Aska Science College Humanities Society”.

1. Membership
   The Membership of the society is open to all arts students and staff of the college. Every Student member of the society shall pay an annual Subscription of Rs. 10 /- (Rupees ten only) at the time of admission.

1. Objective
   1. The objective of the society shall be to organise academic, debate, competitions, seminars and symposium on social relevant and current topics.
   2. To arrange study tour places of historical importance or place to study different social or political phenomena.
   3. To hold meetings to be addressed by the persons of eminence in the field of different acts Subject like History, Political Science, Economics, English and Odia.
   4. To undertake such other activities as may be proposed by the executive body.
2. Executive Body
   The affairs of the Society shall be managed by the executive body consisting of
   1. The Principal as Ex-office President.
   2. Vice President who shall ordinarily be the senior most teaching member among the arts faculty, nominated by the principal.
   3. An associate Vice-president to be nominated by the principal from among the arts staff of arts faculty.
   4. Secretary to be elected for the academic session form the arts students.
   5. Class representatives to be elected one from each arts class.

However, the principal shall be the final controlling authority in all matter performing to the Society.
